Chris and Leo went to pick up a new pet kitten in Chris’s beloved red Smart car. During the return journey, the kitten was clearly nervous and had retreated to the back of the cat basket. In his wisdom, Leo decided to open the basket door ever so slightly in an attempt to calm her. Within seconds Gadget had escaped and was frantically exploring the car; under the pedals and over the seats much to the distress, and irritation of mum. With mum progressively becoming ever more desperate to reach home, the remainder of the journey was spent driving erratically along the A3 with Gadget racing manically back and forth across the dashboard. It remains one of the best journeys we ever shared.
